We have covered a lot of material so far. It’s a good time to go back and review.

In order to get the most from this course, and get the most from Breathwork, you will want to give some structure to your Practice. And you will want to devote some real time to working and playing with your breath.

I suggest 40 minutes per day. Does that seem like too big of a commitment? Most people’s days are already so filled to the brim, that it’s not uncommon for me to hear: “I just don’t have enough time to practice!”

And so I’d like to introduce you to this simple yet powerful formula for your personal practice:

10 + 10 + (10 x 2) = 40

That’s ten minutes in the morning, ten minutes at night, and ten times during the day for two minutes. That’s 40 minutes a day!

The idea is to integrate Breath Awareness and Conscious Breathing into your life. Establishing a ritual of doing ten minutes of Breathwork upon waking and before sleeping is very powerful.

The real power of Breathwork comes when you find a way to integrate it into your life, to bring it into your work, play, and everyday activities. And two minutes at a time, ten times during the day will do just that.

EXERCISE

Go back over the lessons, and choose a meditation, exercise, or technique that is particularly interesting, easy, or fun. Choose one that you like, or that you find is challenging. And apply this 40 minute formula to it.

10 + 10 + (10 x 2)
